WOW!!!! CRAZY WHAT YOU FIND WHEN YOU ARE PACKING STUFF UP FOR A MOVE.... THESE ARE SOME PICS FROM NANCI RAYGUN IN RICHMOND VA NOW REOPENED UNDER THE NAME STRANGE MATTER. MOST OF THESE PICS ARE BANDS THAT ARE NO LONGER AROUND. MOST OF THE PEOPLE IN THE SHOOTS ARE IN CURRENT BANDS THAT ROCK HARD.

Mastodon came through and ROCKED!!! The National this past Sunday. I have seen this band from the smallest stage to the biggest stage over the past 9 years or so. I also remember the Bill and Bran playing in Today is the Day( who I wish I had pics of)
Well.... These are some that I snapped in cross processed at Swingers- Now McCormick's in Richmond. They are not the best seeing that that room was super dark and I was shooting the best I could through the crazy ass crowd.
The funny thing is about Sunday is there is a bar called Gibson's next door to the national and my friend Steve went up to one of the guys ( Brent) I think in the bar and said " Hey you guys have not been back around Richmond in a long time... I know you have some friends here and all".. (Brent) looked at him and in true rock star fashion said " UH! what city are we in? " Funny b/c when I took these pictures you would of thought Richmond was like their second home. Big tours.... money and getting beat up and having brain damage I guess will do that. ( Note... I think the second pic I scanned in backwards) notice Troy is not a left handed player and the amp logo is backwards.... my bad)

OLD STEPS TO A TRAIL

Been feeling bummed this past two weeks. Things did not work out with a certain young lady and we are " just friends " now. It's hard b/c I grew to like her a lot and the past few times I have hung out my feelings still remain and I wish could be with her. You know we always want something we can't have. It's human nature. Well being someones friend is always better than being hated or never spoken to again. I have had my fair share of situations like this.I am just sad about them. She is an awesome lady and would love to be close to her still as a solid friend.

Any who! This is an old creepy set of steps that is at the bottom of a hill, and leads to a trail by some rail road tracks on the James River.

Just in a uploading mood today. These are some Holga images from the good old James. and some more tweaked older negatives that I scanned. I know I know. STOP USING OLD WORK YOU SAY! But I am working on some concepts when work dies down and I think I may take some fun pictures this week while I am off work. we shall see.

Some more images like the last post. These were taken in an old water treatment plant that was abandoned and kind of off limits. It was slowly taken over by bums,drug addicts, VCU art students, and graffiti artists. It was an amazing spot full of danger, and awesome examples of industrial tools and machines that just rotted away. I am sure the places was full of things that could be harm full to your health, but it was a dam good spot.
